Happy Muslim Mama: Craft Gift Boxes
As our (mine and my sisters) annual Eid party is coming up this weekend, we four have had a war-council to delegate work, costs and food shopping and preparation. We have all pooled our resources for gifts and prizes and I have pored over my loot-bag stash which I have collected over the year (long-live booties and the bargain bin) to create party bags our guests will remember.I picked up these two lovely boxes for 50p each and cleared out my craft boxes to create two gift boxes.
As you can see one is more beading and sewing/knitting focussed and the other is more card-making or paper-crafts focussed.
I cobbled together the tags and Long-Suffering Sister tied the parcels up for me with some pretty green ribbon. I think these would make nice parcels for musical chairs – with nasheeds of course (although that doesn’t stop the game from becoming rather rowdy).
