We were invited to dinner tonight, so I thought I would make my hostess some cakes (being one of the few things I can make without burning or murdering with salt). I used this recipe, but quadrupled all the ingredients. In the end I filled a tub for my friend who came around with some […]
Something to wear (Kooks bought this for me and I haven’t had the opportunity to wear it): Somthing to wear with it (I went with the deep pink ones in the end): More bling… …and another outing for my fave shoes: I was worried these wouldn’t much (they were similar to the colour of the […]

I find that Ramadan and Eid are so much more pleasant if you do a little planning beforehand. I can’t usually stick to all of the things I plan, but even if you get to do some of them it’s still rewarding. Now Start making Eid Cards – This post gives some hints about where […]
I had a clear-out of my papercrafts supplies a while ago and kept planning to post about a give-away. I finally got the chance to pull my stuff out and take pictures today whilst the kids were busy trying to crash my laptop (they’ve got bored of crashing the home computers since there is nothing […]
After endless weeks of blustery rain, overcast skies and freezing hands at 7.30 in the morning, the sun finally came out today. So after a long day at work, I went home and cuddled the babies, put my head on Mr Removal Man’s arm and told him about my day, then headed off to the little […]

At the beginning of the children’s school holidays I came to the conclusion that the internet was having a negative affect on my children. I could see it in the Kardashian culture seeping into my daughters thinking. I could hear it in the language they were using. It was becoming visible through their behaviour when […]

We act as witnesses to the protagonist’s journey and desire resolution for her. In her second book, we are invited into the […]
I came home from work today to find Little Lady in a bad mood. After some sulky faces and a sullen silence, I managed to find out what was wrong. She was annoyed she’d been stuck at home all day. So I asked her to come to the butchers and grocers with me, which she did, but […]
