Happy Muslim Mama: Butterfly Award

I got an award from the lovely Sister Washi over at Crafty Muslimah for my book reveiws which is a first for me and very sweet of her.In turn my favorite reads are:
Barakah at Rickshaw Diaries – for the sheer variety of subjects she writes about and the beauty that shines through in her writing. Hegab Rehab – Ange has probably been awarded this so many times already, but gets it again from me because her blog is addictive, fun and feisty. Sister Safiyyah of Shaalom 2 Salam – she was one of the first people to encourage me to blog and she has encouraged so many other sisters too. The word gracious comes to mind when I think of her. Izzy Mo for her beautiful works of art and her world-affairs type posts which always give me something new to think about and Sister Brandy at American Muslima Writer for her brilliant idea of creating a directory of ALL MUSLIMAH blogs where sisters can find each other. (I wish I had the time to read through each one – I’m goigng to start with the Muslim mothers blogs).
